Welcome to The Okapuna Foundation, where we empower children and women to become strong, confident and self sufficient. Our expertly trained staff provides a safe and fun camping experience, with a variety of outdoor activities that promote personal growth and positive relationships.

The Foundation’s focused efforts are to serve at risk children in south Los Angeles and surrounding communities. Our goal is to decrease infant and child drownings in minority communities, prevent heart disease, sugar diabetes, high blood pressure & obesity by encouraging movement.
Our Community
As a camp that serves both children and women, The Okapuna Foundation is committed to creating a community of support and empowerment. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to grow, learn, and thrive, and we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our campers to do just that.
